Its that time of year again!

Last weekend, Icknield District Scout Council hosted our annual Jamboree on the Air/Internet event at Woodcroft Guide Centre in Luton, which drew participants from across Bedfordshire. This year's celebration was packed with exciting activities that challenged young people to think creatively, communicate with each other and work together as a team.

The young people that attended also got to chat to Scouts from all over the world on the International Chatrooms and over CB Radio, these included chats with Scouts from Indonesia, Thailand, Nigeria and on one occasion Scouts from our very own Flitwick Scout Group

The event was a great opportunity for our young people to experience the breadth of Scout experiences across the world and also learn some great digital skills on computers, some even earning their Digital Citizen and Communcations badges.

Finally, a big thank you to those volunteers who helped make the day a great success
